Channel Expansion
1-remove top cover
2-locate the back of display board
3-on this board you should see 2 pins, connect a jumper wire between the pins (see pic below)
4-power on the unit while holding down the #1 button,and everytime the radio is turned on hold the button for 5 seconds after power is applied
5-to change bands use the button #1 frequncy range is now 26.155-29.655 and me skip a few far and in between.

With the purchase of my new NorthPoint CBS1000 I am looking for Improvments. I picked up this radio to get back in to CB Radio ssb. It seem’s I may be to late, For the latested Peak and tune. If you or anyone could point me in the Loop I would be greatfull. Thanks Date 2/23/08
